Here are the technical specifications
At the Chinese presentation, we could witness the official unveiling of two versions of this bracelet. Specifically, it was the Mi Smart Band 6 and the Mi Smart Band 6 with NFC, which was enhanced with contactless payments.
However, in Europe you’ll only get one of these versions. As expected, it’s again the version without NFC, so you won’t pay for that with this bracelet in our region.
The biggest lure of this device is the new, improved AMOLED display. It’s not only increased by 50% up to a 1.56″ diagonal, but it’s also smoother. That smoothness results in 326 ppi. The manufacturer has also prepared more than 130 watch faces, including animated ones, and you’ll also be able to create your own with a photo.
When it comes to activity recognition, there’s no shortage of support for 30 sports (6 of which also has automatic recognition). You’ll be pleased with 24/7 heart rate monitoring, SpO2 blood oxygen monitoring, as well as a sensor for breathing measurement, sleep quality evaluation, or tracking menstrual cycles.
The bracelet is also water-resistant, up to a depth of 50 meters, with 5ATM certification. You’ll appreciate the integrated magnetic charging based on the previous generation, plus good battery life on a single charge. It lasts for 14 days with standard use.
