Our detailed review on China Planet:
Wanbo T2 Max NEW brings several improvements
Wanbo T2 Max NEW is a fairly compact projector with dimensions of 113 x 146 x 156,5 millimeters. One of its main strengths is the full integration of features from Google. The operating system is Android 9.0 Pie, and the internal 16 GB memory comes with preinstalled Netflix and YouTube. An interesting feature is AI Auto Focus, which ensures a consistently sharp projected image without the need for manual adjustment.
The image is displayed in Full HD resolution, or 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels). Support for 16 million colors is also welcome, which should be a fully sufficient color range for most purposes. You can look forward to great contrast and natural color saturation. The projector even includes speakers that should also focus on the bass component of the sound down to frequencies below 60 Hz.
As the name of this product suggests, it is a new generation of an existing projector. Compared to its older sibling, it has auto focus and 80 % higher brightness (a jump from 250 ANSI to 450 ANSI). Great news is support for projecting HDR10 content.
It is very quiet during operation. The noise level should not exceed 35 dB/m. This is also thanks to the intelligent system for regulating operating temperature. Compared to the classic version labeled T2 Max, it also has a better-designed lens for an even higher-quality image.
Battery life is another strong point of this product. The projector should last over 20000 hours of operation, which means it can keep you company for 7 years provided that you use it 8 hours a day.
The user interface is reportedly fast and should not hold you up in any way. Depending on the projector’s distance from the wall, you can get an image from a 40-inch diagonal for example up to 140 inches.
Finally, let’s mention connectivity. The product includes a power port, a USB-A connector, HDMI, and a 3,5 mm jack for connecting headphones. There is also support for Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi at 2.4 GHz. A status LED indicator is placed next to it.
