Brand Amazfit introduced a pair of new premium smartwatches, the Amazfit Balance 3 and Amazfit Balance Ultra, pushing the Balance series up another level. This time, the manufacturer has clearly focused on battery life, durability, navigation, and sports features. The new models are aimed especially at active users, athletes, and fans of hybrid training who want to combine strength training, running, recovery, and everyday smart functions in one device.

Both models come with a completely new HybridCharge™ system, a brighter AMOLED display with sapphire glass, a more accurate GPS, and improved AI analytics in the Zepp app. However, the differences between the models aren’t small. Balance Ultra targets the most demanding users and features a titanium body, a larger battery, or even a more rugged build.

Amazfit Balance 3: Elegant sports watch with a focus on battery life
The Amazfit Balance 3 model brings a large 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 480 px and a maximum brightness of up to 3000 nits. Sapphire glass provides the protection, so the display should handle even demanding everyday use without any issues. The manufacturer also added two new buttons on the left side, so the watch now has four physical buttons, including a rotating crown.
The biggest draw is battery life. The 658 mAh capacity delivers up to 21 days of normal use on a single charge. In precise GPS tracking mode, the watch lasts up to 41 hours. Amazfit also uses dual-band GPS and support for six satellite systems, which means very accurate route tracking even in dense city areas.
The biggest novelty in the Balance series is the HybridCharge™ system. It’s a combination of three separate analytical systems: BioCharge™, LifeLoad™, and Training Load. That way, the watch tracks not only physical load from training, but also stress, recovery, sleep quality, and everyday strain on your body.
In the Zepp app, users then get detailed recommendations for training, rest, or the intensity of other activities. Amazfit is strongly focused on HYROX training, and athletes will also find special modes for race simulation, virtual pace, and detailed performance analysis.
Premium Amazfit Balance Ultra with a titanium build
For more demanding users, we’ve got the Amazfit Balance Ultra. Right away, it’s a more rugged model with a titanium case and larger dimensions. The watch diameter increased to 51.8 mm, and the manufacturer also added an extra additional button, so the Ultra model offers up to five physical buttons.
However, the biggest advantage is the huge 780 mAh battery. Battery life then reaches up to 30 days of normal use or 50 hours in precise GPS mode. Those are values that are getting close to professional outdoor watches from Garmin or Coros.
Both models support offline maps, route navigation, automatic route recalculation when you turn, and planning circular routes based on the distance you set. The watches offer up to 64 GB of storage, where you can save maps, music, or podcasts.
Amazfit also brings a compelling new feature: significantly faster map rendering. Amazfit claims up to 12x faster navigation updates than the previous generation. You also get built-in search for points of interest right on the watch.
More than 180 sports modes and water resistance
The new Balance watches support over 180 sports modes, including strength training, running, swimming, golf, and HYROX modes. Automatic recognition of selected exercises and detailed performance statistics come as standard.
You’ll also appreciate the high durability. Both models feature 10 ATM certification and even support freediving to a depth of 45 meters. The titanium version is additionally ready for more demanding outdoor use.
Amazfit is also continuing to develop smart features. You get Bluetooth calling, a microphone, a speaker, and voice control with Zepp Flow 2.0. With your voice, you can start workouts, control watch features, and create voice notes while exercising. There’s also support for Zepp Pay for contactless NFC payments. The manufacturer states you can store up to eight payment cards directly on the watch.
The new Amazfit Balance 3 watches are available in a stainless steel version for around €370. The titanium variant will hit the market a little later, with a price tag of approximately €450. The top model Amazfit Balance Ultra starts at around €599.90 and offers a premium titanium body plus a pair of straps in the box right from the base package. Both new releases begin selling via the official Amazfit store and will gradually roll out to other retailers in Europe.
