In India, the Redmi 13C series was unveiled. The live stream ended with a statement that the entire product reveal was filmed on the smartphone Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. The company also confirmed that the phone will be released for India soon. More specifically, the new model should be unveiled during this period.
The Redmi Note 13 series on the global market is expected to launch at the beginning of next year
The India launch is expected to happen in January 2024. In September, the Redmi Note 13 series was introduced for its home market, China. The lineup includes the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G models. After the India unveiling, the whole series should then also come to the global market.
One thing worth noting is that the best-equipped model, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, features a 200 MP main camera. The device uses a 1/1.4″ sensor from South Korea’s giant Samsung. Specifically, we’re talking about the ISOCELL HP3 chip with pixels sized 0.56 µm and support for recording video at a maximum resolution of 4K at 30 fps. Essentially, it’s the same sensor as the one found in the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ smartphone.
We believe that the new releases will once again succeed on our market as devices with an excellent price-to-specs ratio. Past series performance suggests the same.
