Redmi has introduced new wireless earbuds for the home Chinese market just a few days ago. They were Redmi AirDots 3 Pro earbuds. A new certification has shown that this model will also make it beyond China under the name POCO Pop Buds.
Rebranded AirDots 3 Pro
Redmi AirDots 3 Pro earbuds are meant only for China, so Xiaomi has decided to offer them to users on the global market. In the Bluetooth SIG certification, a pair of earbuds appeared that share the same model designation as the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro (TWSEJ01ZM).
They should be the model names for Redmi Buds 3 Pro and POCO Pop Buds, which will be identical models but intended for different global markets. The first one is expected to be for the European market, and the second for the Indian market. Whether that actually happens, we’ll find out in the next few days.
Redmi AirDots 3 Pro
The biggest change is an update to the design of both the charging case itself and the earbuds. The case is now oriented vertically and comes in black and white. It’s also equipped with a coil for wireless charging.
Each earbud contains 9-millimeter dynamic drivers that deliver great sound, while the earbud weight is just 4,9 grams. The icing on the cake is the use of active noise cancellation (ANC) technology, which will reduce the sound level by up to 35 dB. Three microphones take care of this feature.
The earbuds also communicate with the MIUI 12.5 interface extension. With one charge, they last for 6 hours with the ANC feature turned on, and the case will provide them with an additional 28 hours of music listening.
The price for the Chinese market was set at 299 yuan, which is about 38 euros. As soon as the launch on the global market happens, we’ll inform you in time.
