Last time we got a look at the design of the next gaming smartphone from Redmi, called the K50 Gaming Edition. It keeps unveiling more of its advantages and draws mobile fans in with its upcoming launch.
We know more details
It seems Redmi is very proud of its upcoming gaming smartphone, because ever since yesterday’s design presentation it hasn’t stopped revealing more parameters and neat features of the phone.
Redmi said the new Redmi K50 Gaming Edition smartphone will use magnetic buttons that will improve the gaming experience and make button presses more precise. Redmi also showed us this mechanism in a GIF.
We can notice that the buttons will have a total of up to 8 small magnets, thanks to which a more natural rebound effect of the button itself will be achieved—and it will also have a positive impact on the button’s lifespan.
It seems Redmi is again integrating a mechanical lock for these buttons to limit wear when they’re not in use and to prevent accidental presses. Players will unlock them only when they truly need them.
Aggressive gaming design
Redmi also revealed the design of built-in speakers. It matches the overall aggressive look of the entire gaming smartphone, and the company also claims that, in the sketch of them, it took inspiration from racing cars and F1 monoposts.
The overall design will be aggressive and will differ significantly from other Redmi K50 smartphones, whose design we already know based on leaked protective cases and created renders.
The entire Redmi K50 series will be unveiled on February 16 at 19:00 local time, but for now the presented smartphones will only be available for the home Chinese market.
It’s said that some of them may also look at the global market, but under the POCO brand in the form of the POCO F4 and POCO F4 Pro models. Be sure to follow our website so you don’t miss any news about these models.
