*Editors’ note: Xiaomi Planet is primarily a portal focused on Xiaomi news, but it’s also important to have a broader view and keep an eye on what the competition is doing. In the articles category “Other manufacturers,” you’ll find posts about competing devices.
For a long time now, Xiaomi has also been active in the audio products space, and its headphones are among the most popular. Where Xiaomi slightly falls behind is Bluetooth speakers. Even though we can’t expect everything from Xiaomi, they haven’t shown a new Bluetooth speaker for a long time—one that would deliver higher music performance.
And now it’s Tronsmart’s turn. It’s a manufacturer that specializes in making accessories—whether audio products, cables, power devices, or PC accessories. Its brand-new offering is a well-equipped Bluetooth speaker, the Tronsmart T6 Plus, which we’ll be talking about now.

Packed with technology
So Tronsmart T6 Plus is a well-equipped speaker. The foundation is two 20 W stereo speakers that together deliver up to 40 W of music power.
It’s tuned to deliver the best balance between crisp highs and deep bass. This balance is taken care of by the technology SoundPulse.
Even a equalizer button is right on the speaker. There are three modes – treble boost, 3D Deep Bass, and Extra Bass.
You can connect it to another Tronsmart T6 Plus speaker to create perfect stereo sound.
A solid battery, support for USB or microSD cards
A proper music performance can’t be missing a proper battery either. In the T6 Plus you get up to 6600 mAh and up to 15 hours of playback on a single charge. Plenty for a very long party.
One big plus is Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, which provides a more stable connection with lower power consumption.
Let’s stay with connectivity for a moment. T6 Plus has even more. In addition to the modern USB Type-C charging connector, there’s also the classic AUX.
What pleasantly surprises is the classic USB input for connecting a USB flash drive with music, along with a slot for microSD cards. That means the speaker can work on its own, without a connected smartphone or laptop.
Through the USB connector, it can even charge your smartphone, so it can also work as a power bank.
On the front you’ll find a panel with control buttons for skipping between tracks. There’s also a button to change the connectivity mode, and a TWS button to pair a second speaker.
On the top side, it also includes a rotary volume control and a large button to pause music, answer a call, or summon a voice assistant.
Tronsmart T6 Plus is ready for your adventures, and you’ll also get increased durability plus an IPX6 certification for splash-water resistance.
