On our website, you can find three articles where we took apart the interior and the component storage in smartphones. These were the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, Black Shark 3, and Redmi K30 Pro models.
After the Mi 10 Pro, we have a video where the company shows the internal structure of the base version – Mi 10.
A huge battery and component storage
In the first minute of the video, the author shows a massive battery with a capacity of up to 4 780 mAh. The phone dimensions 162.5 x 74.8 x 9 mm provide enough space for such a large battery.
Phone size isn’t everything that allows such a big accumulator to be stored inside. Careful placement of the mainboard here really plays a big role. The mainboard with all the components is practically stored next to the battery.
On the mainboard, there’s a Snapdragon 865 processor from Qualcomm with a graphics chip Adreno 650.
RAM of type LPDDR 5 with internal memory of type UFS 3.0 also has its place here. Finally, among the main specs on the mainboard, we also find a 5G modem.
In the second minute, the author takes a look at the sensors. Mi 10 has a total of 4 sensors:
- 108 MPx main sensor
- 13 MPx ultra-wide sensor
- 2 MPx depth sensor
- 2 MPx macro sensor
The video author shows how optical stabilization (OIS) works on an especially big 108 MPx lens.
At the end of the video, the author shows the symmetrical layout of the dual speaker for a better stereo experience.
