Online, information has appeared about the launch date of the Xiaomi 14 series on the global market. The phones were unveiled in October exclusively for the domestic Chinese market, and this is the period when the Xiaomi 14 model will also be available for us.
Xiaomi 14 will likely be introduced at MWC 2024
The process will probably be similar to what happened with the Xiaomi 13 series. It was unveiled at the MWC 2023 in Barcelona and the Xiaomi 14 should be presented during the same event. MWX 2024 will most likely take place between 26th and 29th February next year.
However, we would expect the announcement of the new products from the Chinese manufacturer intended for the global market one day before the trade fair starts, i.e. during 25th February.
Xiaomi 14 features a 6.36-inch C8 LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution. The cherry on top is the high brightness of up to 3000 nits. Of course, there’s also the higher 120 Hz refresh rate and a durable Corning Gorilla Glass Victus glass.
Performance is handled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, along with 8 GB, 12 GB to 16 GB of RAM. There is a version with 256 GB, 512 GB up to 1 TB of internal storage.
From the photo lineup, it’s worth noting the trio of cameras on the back, refined in cooperation with Leica. The main sensor is 50 MP. The rest of the lenses can also boast the same resolution. There is an ultra-wide-angle camera as well as a telephoto lens.
On the front, there is a 32 MP “selfie” camera. Without a doubt, it’s a top-tier model that we’d like to see on store shelves in our country as well. We believe it would find a very large base of satisfied users.
