AnTuTu has been involved in measuring the performance of mobile phones for a long time. To do this, it primarily uses its AnTuTu Benchmark app, in which it tests the individual components used in the hardware.
It then combines the results into a point score. The achieved score is also compared with other tested devices.
Ranking 10 of the most powerful phones in April 2019
From data collected from April 1, 2019 to April 30, 2019, AnTuTu compiled a ranking of the top 10 most powerful smartphones. It’s surprising that the top three spots were taken by smartphones of our favorite brand Xiaomi. We also have to add that the point values are the average results of the tested devices in the month.
The first two spots were taken by the Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer and the Xiaomi Mi9 with scores of 373 715 and 373 511 points. In third place is the gaming phone Xiaomi Black Shark 2 with a score of 371 837. The fourth and fifth spots belong to the Meizu 16s and the Vivo iQOO Monster with an average score of 370 306 and 363 360.
The current flagship models from Korean Samsung also made it into the TOP10, specifically the Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10 with scores of 359 936 and 358 726, respectively. The last three spots belong to Vivo iQOO phones with a score of 354 138, Nubia Red Magic Mars with a score of 310 612, and the only Huawei in the list, Honor V20 with a score of 306 289.
The Redmi flagship will definitely change the ranking
We expect that in May 2019, this ranking will be shaken up by new smartphones with Snapdragon 855. It will be mainly our much-anticipated new Redmi, but also OPPO Reno 10x Zoom, Lenovo Z6Pro, or models from ZTE – Axon 10 and Nubia Red Magic 3.
