One success after another is rolling in for Xiaomi lately. We recently informed you that Xiaomi has overtaken US-based Apple in sales and became the world’s #2 right after Samsung.
The best-selling brand in Europe
Recently, there was news that Xiaomi is doing well in Europe, where it became the best-selling brand for the second quarter 2021. Xiaomi secured this first place with growth of 67,1 %.
Xiaomi’s current market share in the European market is 25,3 %. To reach this figure, Xiaomi sold 12,7 million smartphones. These numbers only suggest that sales will continue to grow, and Xiaomi can build a significant lead over other companies.
How are the other brands doing?
The second best-selling manufacturer in the ranking, Samsung, recorded negative growth -7%. Its market share is 24 %, which puts it just behind Xiaomi. Third is Apple. It achieved growth of 15,7 %, and its market share is 19,2 %.
The next two spots went to Chinese brands Oppo and Realme. Oppo achieved growth of 180 %. This company even entered the Slovak market only at the end of June. Realme did even better. Its growth over the last quarter is an incredible 1 800 %. These figures truly point to a promising future for the company.
Chinese companies are doing great
We can see that Chinese companies are really doing well in the European market. It’s also because they can deliver more for the same price than the competition. Often it means higher performance, a nicer display, or better-quality cameras.
We’ve liked the Xiaomi brand for ages thanks to its great value for money. By bringing dozens of smartphones every year, along with its subsidiary brands Redmi and POCO, users always have a wide choice—and it all comes down to your personal preferences.
