Our favorite Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is bringing, for now, its most powerful robotic vacuum cleaner. It is called Xiaomi Mijia Sweeping and Dragging Robot, has power up to 8000 pa and supports a mobile app as well as mopping the floor.
Xiaomi Mijia Sweeping and Dragging Robot: The most powerful robotic vacuum cleaner from Xiaomi
The new model labeled Xiaomi Mijia Sweeping and Dragging Robot was officially unveiled in China as part of crowdfunding. It has the potential to especially impress with its performance and integrated equipment.
Unlike other models from the brand, the new robotic vacuum cleaner offers suction power up to 8000 pa, thanks to which it can take on all kinds of dirt, dust particles, or leftover food on the floor.
The vacuum comes in an elegant black finish. It features a wide opening with a brush and a blade designed to prevent tangling of hair or fur from pets at home. It also includes an LDS laser sensor for precise navigation together with the SLAM system, plus a connection to the Xiaomi Home (Mi Home) mobile app for smart home products from the Xiaomi ecosystem.
In addition, the robotic vacuum cleaner also has a function for long-term floor mopping (several mopping levels are available). Thanks to the integrated water/dust tank (250 milliliters / 450 milliliters), you can do several cleaning sessions with a single fill.
Looking at the integrated battery, Xiaomi Mijia Sweeping and Dragging Robot has a battery with a total capacity of up to 5200 mAh. With one charge, it can clean an area of up to 180 square meters. The vacuum can overcome obstacles up to 2 centimeters high.
Price and availability of the new robot vacuum cleaner
The new model named Xiaomi Mijia Sweeping and Dragging Robot will start selling on the Chinese market as early as tomorrow, on December 8, 2021, at the official retail price of 2299 Chinese yuan. In the current conversion, that is approximately 319 € / 361 USD. However, the manufacturer has also prepared a launch offer as part of crowdfunding at a lower price of 1899 Chinese yuan, i.e., 264 € / 298 USD.
