We decided to order it from the Czech warehouse at the coupon price as well so we could test it for you. We placed the order on 1.10., on 2.10. the package was already shipped, and on 6.10. the GLS courier called us to say he had a parcel for delivery. The actual delivery took an express 4 days.
The heater arrived in a long box and, of course, it was undamaged, with the inside protected by polystyrene foam. What surprised us was the low total weight of the whole package—it doesn’t even reach 7 kg. The heater itself is also very light. The construction is made of material similar to sheet metal, and in terms of design it’s a really nice piece even in person.
You definitely shouldn’t miss the color display that shows the temperature, WiFi connection status, and also has basic control buttons. Unfortunately, they’re in Chinese, but with your phone and the Google Translate app you can translate them easily. The button all the way on the right turns the heater on.
Since this is a Chinese version of the product, we recommend buying this high-quality adapter, which can handle high power and the heater’s power draw and is truly safe. In the box, the seller included only a cheap and unusable adapter. We tested the device right away by connecting it to the modified Mi Home by Vevs app, which immediately automatically found the heater.

The Viomi VXTJ01 electric heater has an intensive heating system built in with a total output of up to 2200 W. It’s also made up of 136 thin aluminum fins, so you’ll feel the heating effects already in 5 seconds after turning it on. Thanks to up to 12 heating units, it can heat rooms with a 21 to 30 m2 area without any trouble.
The device features a standalone design, and its width is 1270 mm. The Viomi heater has a height of 260 mm and a thickness of only 140 mm, so you can place it practically anywhere.
It’s also suitable for heating damp areas, such as bathrooms, because it has a water-resistant certificate IPX4.
The device can operate in a 24-hour mode, during which you can schedule heating across multiple temperature levels. Viomi VXTJ01 also offers an energy-saving constant temperature mode, and the heating range can be set from 5 to 35° C.
Smart functions and app control
You can control the heater using touch buttons on the LED display, but I use a remote control. With the WiFi network, you can pair the device with the Mi Home app to control it via your smartphone, as well as by voice commands through a Xiaomi AI speaker.
The manufacturer also didn’t forget about safety, and integrated multiple safety features into the Viomi VXTJ01. The heater has a child lock and overheating protection.
If any part of the heater gets warmer than 110° C, the heating will automatically turn off. Automatic shut-off will also occur if the heater is tilted by more than 45°.
