The next new model is the Xiaomi Watch S3, and it comes with a round body, featuring a 1.43″ AMOLED display and the HyperOS operating system.

The round watch body is complemented by a stylish design, including vibrant colors such as a vivid yellow. The integrated Xiaomi Watch S3 panel has a 1.43″, AMOLED technology and is surrounded by a thicker bezel, which also serves as a base for customization.
The manufacturer went with a removable strap and a bezel around the display. By rotating the bezel, you can swap the watch for another piece with a more design-forward look—for example, one that shows minutes. You’ll also find about 180 software watch faces in the mobile app, as well as unique watch faces for the removable bezels mentioned above, plus a special personalized personal watch face.
But let’s move on to tracking sports activities. Xiaomi Watch S3 offers more than 150 sports modes. And for the global version of the smartwatch, the lineup also includes new modes designed for winter sports. You can, for instance, use a skiing mode with increased antenna reception performance and improved positioning accuracy thanks to dual-band GNSS (L1 + L5).

These smartwatches also offer 10 different running courses that will help you train, optimize your performance, and even choose a goal for your activity—such as increasing endurance or, on the other hand, prioritizing fat burning.
Smartwatches also offer advanced health monitoring features, and they come with a 12-channel heart rate monitoring module that measures your heart rate more accurately than previous generations of the devices. Connectivity and pairing with your smartphone are handled by the Bluetooth 5.2 technology. Another major advancement is the mentioned new operating system HyperOS.
The built-in battery has a capacity of 486 mAh, while the resulting battery life is around 15 days of standard use. Battery life is slightly reduced when using the Always-On feature.
Smartwatch settings also let you unlock even more features, like personalized one-hand swipe operations. Using different wrist movements, you can control your smartphone features, such as rejecting calls, showing the weather, or taking a photo via your smartphone. Xiaomi Watch S3 can also boast fast charging, offering up to two days of battery life with just 5 minutes of charging, including the bundled charger.
Price and availability of the new Xiaomi smartwatches
The Xiaomi Watch S3 smartwatch will be available for sale at the official retail price of 149 €. We don’t know the official sales start date yet. As for accessories, there will be several types of interchangeable wrist straps available right away.
