Great tablet Redmi Pad 2 Pro with SD 7s Gen 4, 12.1″ 120 Hz display, a huge 12,000 mAh battery, and support up to 2032

Xiaomi, during its September wave of new product releases, also brings a new Redmi Pad 2 Pro, available in two versions right away – the standard WiFi and, for the first time, a version with 5G connection support as well.

The latest Xiaomi products in our FB group

Compared to last year’s Redmi Pad Pro, the device has received several upgrades, mainly in performance and battery. The 12,1-inch display, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits brightness remain the same, though.

Great coupons in the EU warehouse

The latest and so far best tablet from the Redmi sub-brand, the Pad 2 Pro model, is available through the DHgate platform from our verified and reliable seller mi_fans_store in a Spanish warehouse, where it has the best market price thanks to our coupons. The seller offers the WiFi version of the tablet in 128 and 256 GB versions with free delivery in 5–7 days. Another advantage is a 2-year warranty.

On DHgate, we found a 5G version in stock with the verified seller as well, offering full support for 5G and 4G networks for Slovakia and the Czech Republic—it also includes eSIM functionality. You can find the complete specifications of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G on the manufacturer’s official website.

How long is this tablet supported with software updates? Redmi Pad 2 Pro has promised security updates up to year 2032/10, with the final OS version being Android 20.

Buying on AliExpress for the first time?

This process is done through the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. Two things matter: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary in the Promo code field. After you click Pay now, you can’t add it anymore.

1. Copy the code and click GET THE DISCOUNTIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET THE DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
2. Use Add to cart, not Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and click Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—this skips the cart, so later you won’t have a place to enter the coupon. Before that, make sure the variant is correct: color, version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
3. Continue to Checkout via the cartA pop-up will appear: Added to cart!—tap Check it out. If it disappeared, open the cart using the icon in the bottom-right corner. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then tap the red Checkout button. Only the items marked with the red circle are included.
4. Fill in your address and card, then look for Promo codeIn the order summary, first enter the delivery address and payment card at the top. Below that, there’s a line Promo code — expand it with the arrow on the right.

5. Paste the code and confirm ApplyIn the field Promo code paste the copied code and click the black Apply. The code is case-sensitive and must not contain spaces.

6. Check your savings and payIn the section Summary expand the line Saved — you’ll see the applied coupon there as AliExpress coupons/codes. Only when Total is really lower, click Pay now.

Apply the discount again in the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can’t add a coupon anymore. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your item, or your order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

Store Coupon also belongs in the same field. — a coupon from the seller itself, which isn’t always available and changes day to day. It can’t be combined with an AliExpress coupon, so try both and go with the one that gives you more. Coins are added automatically.

A more powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset

Unlike the Redmi Pad 2 model, the new Redmi Pad 2 Pro gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, also found in the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ smartphone (Chinese).

Compared to previous generations, it delivers a noticeably higher performance under CPU and GPU load, making the device suitable not only for everyday use but also for demanding apps or games. Last year’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 lagged behind this processor by around 15 % in benchmarks.

Xiaomi has decided to increase the battery capacity from 10,000 mAh to 12,000 mAh. That means even longer battery life on a single charge, even though wired charging speed remains at 33 W. In practice, the tablet will last longer, but it will also charge a bit more slowly than its predecessor.

There’s also the popular 12.1-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2,560 × 1,600 px, 120 Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 600 nits.

Cameras and multimedia

The front camera remains the same—8 MPx with an aperture of f/2.28 and a sensor size of 1/4″. A similar, but slightly larger 1/4″ sensor with an 8 MPx resolution is also found at the back, with aperture f/2.

For video calls or basic photos, the tablet will deliver better results. Four stereo speakers handle the sound, and there are also modern software features within the HyperOS system.

Price and availability

Tablet prices are as follows:

• REDMI Pad 2 Pro 6+128 GB: 279 euros

However, a discount of 30 euros will apply to the REDMI Pad 2 Pro tablet, so the tablet will cost 249 euros for the lower version and 289 euros for the higher one. During this period, the accessories for the tablets will also be cheaper.

You’ll also get original accessories, including a keyboard for €99.9 and a stylus Redmi Smart Pen for €69.9.

However, a special matte-display version won’t be available in official sales in Slovakia. That’s where our Chinese partners come in—they’ll definitely solve this availability issue and add some extra coupon perks. Keep an eye on our website so you don’t miss out.
