Amazfit isn’t discounting, and once again it has introduced a pair of smartwatches. But they’re specifically aimed mainly at runners. Let’s take a look at the Cheetah and Cheetah Pro models and what they bring.

Running smartwatches from the well-known brand Amazfit—in particular the Cheetah Round model has the lowest price among local Slovak sellers. The advantage over Chinese e-shops is express delivery, up to a 2-year warranty, or the option to return the goods.

Smartwatch for runners
In terms of design, the pair slightly resembles the popular model Amazfit GTR 4. On the right side, you’ll find two buttons—the upper one also serves as a rotating crown for navigating the Zepp OS operating system.
The body itself is made of polymer, which gives it durability while keeping it lightweight—the weight is 32 or 34 grams, and there’s also 5 ATM water resistance. The advantage of the Amazfit Cheetah Pro is the titanium bezel around the touchscreen display.
Two display sizes and dual-band GPS
The difference is in the display size. The base model Amazfit Cheetah features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. The pricier Pro model has a 1.45-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels. In both cases, the maximum brightness is up to 1,000 nits.
A major advantage of these models is the integration of dual-band GPS, which is supposed to be much more precise—something that comes in handy especially for runners. You’ll even find support for offline maps.
A new feature in these smartwatches is called Zepp Couch. It can generate a run plan tailored to you. However, this feature is already available for other watches via an update, too—on Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4.
On the bottom, there’s a BioTracker 3.0 sensor. It can reliably track heart rate, blood oxygenation, stress, sleep, and also the special PAI metric.
Battery life up to 14 days
According to the manufacturer, the battery life is around 14 days of normal use; if you’re more demanding, it’ll drop to roughly half. Charging is then done using magnetic pins.
The Pro version’s advantage is the built-in microphone and speaker—so you can even make calls through them. The base model includes a rubber strap, while the Pro version comes with a nylon one.
