MIIIW is one of the many brands that produces quality products that belong to the Xiaomi ecosystem. Now they’re putting a new set on the market: a wireless smart keyboard with a mouse.
Elegant keyboard with perfect responsiveness
The new MIIIW Smart Bluetooth keyboard with dual mode measures 320.5 × 125.5 × 24.5 mm and features an elegant, minimalist design. It’s made mostly of plastic, and the top part is a striking metal panel. The keyboard’s tilt is a precise 8°, allowing comfortable, more natural hand positioning while typing.
Overall, there are 85 rounded keys with a concave design. This makes it easier to place your fingers accurately on the required key. The keys’ vertical movement is handled by a scissor mechanism.
In addition to reducing noise levels, it also delivers an excellent bounce-back effect that’s very similar to the feel of mechanical keyboards.
A big new feature is the voice input system, which is activated by pressing a dedicated key. Using artificial intelligence and improved speech-recognition technology, it can recognize up to 180 words with transcription feedback in just 200 ms. However, we don’t know which supported languages are available yet.
The Miwu keyboard can be connected to a device via the USB C connector or wirelessly using a small USB receiver that works at a 2.4 GHz frequency. This means the keyboard can be connected to any device with Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS operating systems.
Wireless mouse with adjustable height
The MIIIW set also includes a wireless mouse with an extremely elegant design featuring a metal frame. It has an adjustable height, so you can configure it to keep your wrist in the most comfortable position. Besides the central scroll wheel, it also includes two traditional but quiet buttons.
Compatible is Bluetooth connectivity, which you can use to pair with devices running Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. If your device doesn’t support Bluetooth technology, you can use the same USB receiver that the keyboard connects with.
At the bottom, there’s an optical sensor capable of recognizing a wide range of surfaces, such as glass, fabric, or even high-reflectivity surfaces like marble. The mouse includes a built-in battery with a capacity of 510 mAh. It charges via a USB Type-C port, and with standard use, it’s rated for up to 15 days of battery life.
Price and availability
The MIIIW Smart Bluetooth keyboard and mouse set made by MIIIW will go on sale after the crowdfunding campaign ends successfully on April 19 at a price of 199 yuan.
That’s roughly €27 / 682 CZK after conversion, and we can assume that once it launches, it will also appear in the listings of global retailers at a slightly higher price.
