Huami has been working with Xiaomi for quite a long time. This company includes the Amazfit and Zepp brands. These brands produce several models of wearable accessories every year.
According to the latest statistics, Huami has ranked 4th among the world’s biggest smart device manufacturers. The top three spots were taken by giants like Apple, Samsung, and Huawei. Especially Apple has an enormous lead over the competition in this segment.
Apple Watch are still among the best-selling watches and are steadily gaining a growing group of fans. That could also be why some Huami watches share certain design elements with Apple Watch.
In recent years, Huami watches have become very popular. They owe it to their once again excellent price/performance ratio, nice design, and a wide range of different models for various occasions.
Over the year, Huami’s company grew by almost 70 %
Even Huami watches appeared as the best-selling smartwatch brand in countries like Brazil, Spain, or Russia. That’s truly a success. During the first three months of the year 2021, Huami achieved sales of 1,65 million units sold, which is a year-over-year increase of 68,8 %.

It will be interesting to watch the new partnership between Google and Samsung, which are working together on an operating system for smartwatches that should take the best features from Wear OS and Tizen. Watches with this operating system should show up in the second half of this year.
