Xiaomi 14 Ultra in all its glory from the latest leaked high-resolution press photos!

Xiaomi 14 Ultra is being prepared as a new, premium device for the global market too. And we already know the first high-resolution renders.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra: This is how the premium flagship will look

Apart from the Chinese market, the new device will also be available to global customers: Xiaomi 14 Ultra. All global devices from the Xiaomi 14 series should be unveiled as early as February 25, 2024, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. This also applies to the Ultra model, for which high-resolution graphic renders have now leaked as well.

High-resolution renders were published by the well-known source MySmartPrice, confirming that Xiaomi is really taking its Ultra smartphone seriously. We know the black and silver color variants. The most noticeable visible change is the redesigned rear camera module, with an output shaped like a golden or silver ring.

The placement of the Leica branding and the camera sensors together with the LED flash looks very similar to the previous model, Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The power on/off button, as well as the volume controls, are located on the right side of the device.

What will the layout of the elements of the new device look like?

The mentioned power button will have a textured surface that improves grip and haptic recognition during everyday use. Along the edges, you’ll also find plastic parts on the metal sections to allow signal passage from the antennas.

The bottom edge will then be home to the speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and the primary microphone. However, the position of the speaker and the primary microphone is swapped on the upcoming device compared to the previous generation.

The left side will be empty (except for the antenna marking). The black color variant will offer a textured surface, and both versions will most likely arrive with faux leather. The Xiaomi smartphone logo will be located on the left side of the back panel.

The leaked renders haven’t revealed the design of the front panel or the layout of elements around the display yet. So we’ll have to wait a few more days for these details, until the start of the MWC 2024 event.
