The Chinese brand Little Pepper has, at least among many well-known global manufacturers, not exactly a positive reputation. They deliberately make copies of popular smartphones and this time they targeted the premium model Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra.ň
Their copy costs only 87 € / 105 USD, has up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
Little Pepper XM10: Clone of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra
The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is quite often accused of copying or over-inspiring its competitors. Today, however, we will look at the opposite case—specifically, a faithful copy of the flagship device Mi 10 Ultra by Xiaomi.
You may remember the company Xiaolajaio (which translates to Little Pepper or “small chili”), which doesn’t copy Chinese Xiaomi just by name. In the past, we could already see a copied device labeled Mi Note 3 Pro. Now Xiaomi is taking another hit from the same brand’s workshop. The new victim of the copy is the flagship model Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra.
A copy of the flagship smartphone
The name of the copy is Little Pepper XM10 and the first similarity that hits the eye is the resemblance of the rear cameras. Of course, this is a design similarity. The practical part is significantly different. The square camera bump is definitely smaller than on the original. The space between it and the sensors is also smaller.
In this case, the main camera has only below-average resolution, stopping at 16 MPx. Based on the known technical specifications, we also know the resolution of the front camera, which has 8 MPx.
Even so, it’s a fairly subtle detail and a less experienced user might not notice this change. The black variant with a partially transparent body perfectly copies the processing of the black version Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra.
AMOLED display, 8 GB RAM and 3900 mAh battery
However, the change happens on the front side, and the differences are much more noticeable. Here we can see that the copy manufacturer clearly focused on the price. There is a 6.5″ display with a more unspecified resolution. But the display doesn’t include a subtle punch-hole like Xiaomi’s flagship model—it has a more budget-friendly notch in the middle of the display.

Inside there is also a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Again, these are compromises, not flagship-level specs. As for the battery, it has an average capacity of only 3900 mAh.
If we look at the price-to-performance ratio, this smartphone can seem unbelievably tempting. It’s indeed a cheap and poorly made copy of Xiaomi’s flagship device, but its price starts at just 699 Chinese yuan. In the current conversion, that’s only 87 € / 105 USD.
