Xiaomi adds to its portfolio of robot vacuum cleaners a new extra-low vacuum cleaner called Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot Vacuum Cleaner. Its height is just 55 mm, and the diameter is 323 mm. That makes it a very compact and practical vacuum cleaner that easily fits, for example, under low beds or low furniture. Despite these compact dimensions, it doesn’t lack advanced navigation features.
Accurate navigation thanks to 3D ToF
Despite its extremely low height, the Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot features an advanced 3D ToF sensor (depth sensor). The manufacturer has also equipped the vacuum with a new algorithm called S-Cross 3D. This combination ensures very precise movement in space. The vacuum can also detect very small objects, such as children’s toys or slippers.
Extremely low but still powerful
As we mentioned earlier in the article, the vacuum is only 55 mm tall. However, it still delivers suction power of up to 2000 Pa. Collected dirt is stored in a dustbin with a capacity of 500 ml. As with most new Xiaomi vacuums, this model also supports mopping. The water tank has a capacity of 220 ml.
Of course, it also supports control via the well-known Mi Home app. There’s also voice control through the XiaoAI assistant.
Price and availability
At the moment, the Xiaomi Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot Vacuum Cleaner is sold only in the Chinese market for a price of 1999 yuan, which is about 254 EUR / 310 USD. However, it’s possible that this model will also be available in a global version through well-known international sellers.
