We have new information about the upcoming POCO X4 5G smartphone. It showed up in a performance benchmark, so we now have a clearer idea of how powerful it will be. But will that be enough for the competition?

It appeared in a Geekbench test

POCO will soon launch the sale of its budget 5G smartphone in the Indian market: POCO M4 Pro 5G. The device will be unveiled there on February 15. Around the same time, POCO is also expected to show the world its upcoming POCO X4 5G model.

The fact that this event is already close is also suggested by the smartphone appearing in the Geekbench test. This also confirmed its internal specifications. In the single-core test, the smartphone scored 657 points, and in the multi-core test it scored 2 053 points.

This is the possible configuration

The model number is 2201116PG, with the final letter G indicating that this smartphone will indeed reach the global market. According to the Geekbench benchmark, the smartphone will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It’s an eight-core chipset with two performance cores clocked at 2.21 GHz and six power-efficient cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.

The tested variant has 6 GB of RAM, but it’s expected that POCO will also bring a version with 8 GB of RAM. Right after turning it on, it will come with Android in the older version 11, and it’s not yet clear whether it will include the MIUI 13 or MIUI 12.5 skin.

It’s said that this smartphone will be very similar to the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G model. So we can expect a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

The main camera will get 108 MPx, with 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors for taking macro shots and blurring the background in portrait mode.

The battery could have a solid capacity of 5 000 mAh, and fast charging support for 67W won’t be missing either.
