Redmi Note 11S is getting another major certification that reveals the preinstalled MIUI 13

The Redmi brand probably doesn’t need any introduction to anyone. This manufacturer has been in our market for quite a long time, and over that time it has managed to win the hearts of many fans thanks to its attractive pricing.

In recent articles on our Xiaomi Planet portal, we informed you about the latest updates related to the upcoming Redmi Note 11S smartphone. Now, more interesting details about the device’s specs have surfaced.

Loyal fans of the Chinese giant Xiaomi definitely noticed a big conference that took place just recently, during which the manufacturer unveiled several new releases to the world. The main protagonists of the evening were the new flagship smartphone series Xiaomi 12 and, in particular, the thirteenth generation of the MIUI interface.

The US FCC certification revealed several interesting details about the Redmi Note 11S smartphone. The certification lists two model numbers, “2201117TY” and “2201117SY”, and both models will be launched with the preinstalled Android 12 operating system along with MIUI 13.

So, this will be the very first devices from the Redmi sub-brand lineup that will be sold with a preinstalled MIUI 13 custom skin. This news will definitely make fans of the Chinese giant—especially the MIUI system—very happy.

Thanks to the certification, we also learned that Redmi Note 11S will support ultra-fast 120 W wired charging. The battery capacity is still unknown, but with such high power, the phone will be fully charged in just a few minutes.

You can also look forward to a display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a processor from MediaTek, and a triple camera setup consisting of a 108 MPx main sensor, a 8 MPx wide-angle lens, and a 2 MPx macro sensor. The device’s price could be around 1000 Chinese yuan, which converts to approximately 138 € / 157 $.
