Futuristic device Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha with a curved display at an angle of up to 180 degrees, which really surprised the tech market. Despite its hefty price tag, it should also make room in another market outside of mainland China.
Surprisingly, it should be the Indian market, where devices with a very good price/performance ratio are usually the favorites.
Mi MIX Alpha even outside of China
The quality of the display and the unique build are the main benefits of this device—and also the reason why it has such huge interest. At the moment, the smartphone is available only in the domestic Chinese market, which is quite a logical marketing move given that its price is pushing the 2500 EUR / 62880 CZK threshold.
The manufacturer also has plans for a very fast-growing Indian market. The Mi MIX Alpha was unveiled on Xiaomi’s official website for the Indian market. You can expect Indian customers to be able to buy this smartphone soon.
“2020 will be characterized by the arrival of several top-tier products.” – several Xiaomi company members immediately state with regard to the Indian market.
In the Indian market, mid-range and upper mid-range devices are currently the ones being sold most. That should change, and we should also see premium and flagship devices.
Besides the premium Mi MIX Alpha, the Indian market should also get the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 or Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.
You don’t have to be ashamed of the technical specifications
Mi MIX Alpha comes with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, 12 GB RAM, and 512 GB of internal storage. The device’s structure is made of a ceramic construction enhanced with titanium elements and even sapphire.
Titanium is meant to boost durability, and the sapphire glass is then used to protect the camera lenses.
The main draw, however, is the curved display that smoothly extends all the way to the back of the device. It’s an AMOLED panel with a fine resolution and an impressive curve at an angle of up to 180 degrees.
We’re already curious whether the new model will also make it to other markets, for example European ones. Follow Xiaomi Planet and you’ll learn more information.
