On German Amazon, the stick vacuum cleaner SmartAi is sold under the name V15 Ultra, and at the end of October it was priced at 156,79 €. On AliExpress, its twin is called SmartAi V15 Pro, and during the 11.11 sale from 1st to 18th November you can buy it from a German warehouse for under 80 €. According to the Polish site Czajna.pl, which tested it thoroughly, it is a structurally identical vacuum cleaner, differing only in the sales channel and the contents of the package.
We wrote about it for the first time in September, and since then it has been among the products that Xiaomi Planet readers buy the most often. Through links on Xiaomi Planet and China Planet, they ordered it 93 times in September and October, even though in October there wasn’t any meaningful discount.
Meanwhile, reviewers in Europe put it through its paces, and SmartAi offers accessories for it that you won’t find in the box. In November, the price will also drop below the previous minimum in our price box. So we looked at which manufacturer claims the reviewers confirmed and where the cheap vacuum cleaner falls short.
November price and the vacuum at home within a week
SmartAi V15 Pro is sold by the official SmartAi brand shop, SmartAi EU Store, on AliExpress. It ships from a German warehouse, so it should arrive in about a week; shipping is free and you don’t have to pay customs duty or VAT on top. The brand also includes a 2-year warranty and 15 days for free returns if the vacuum doesn’t suit you.

Tricks you know from Dyson for a fraction of the price: what works and what doesn’t
The V15 label isn’t a coincidence. SmartAi took it over from Dyson V15 Detect, which is sold in Slovakia starting from 628 €, and together with it, three functions that made Dyson famous with its stick vacuum cleaners. The performance won’t match Dyson, but the ideas are the same. Both vacuum cleaners light up with a green glow at an angle just above the floor, so you’ll see fine dust and hairs that you’d otherwise miss.
Both also have a piezoelectric dust sensor, which lets SmartAi smoothly adjust suction in the range from 38 to 58 kPa when it pulls in more dirt. The display shows the mode, battery status in percent, and an alert when hair gets wrapped around the brush or when the air channel clogs.
However, Dyson gets more out of the same sensor. Its display counts the captured particles and sorts them by size, while SmartAi only shows the vacuum’s status. Dyson states suction of 240 AW, which directly describes the airflow. SmartAi’s 58 000 Pa figure refers only to vacuum pressure, so you can’t directly compare these two numbers. With Dyson, you also have an official service in Slovakia; with SmartAi, the seller on AliExpress handles the warranty.
In two things, though, SmartAi is better on paper. The dust collection bin is, according to the manufacturer, 1.8 liters versus 0.77 liters for Dyson, and the battery lasts up to 80 minutes in Eco mode, while Dyson claims 60 minutes. Independent measurements, however, showed that in practice it’s a bit different.
What reviewers measured in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Spain
Since August, when the V15 Pro reached European warehouses, several articles have come out about it, but most are sponsored and just repeat the manufacturer’s data. Only the Polish site Czajna.pl actually measured it—it weighed it in September and discharged it to zero. With the tube, floor nozzle, and battery, it weighs 2 750 g, which is 300 g less than the older SmartAi V6. With the main brush, it lasted in Eco mode 65 minutes, in Norm mode 42 minutes, and in Turbo mode 25 minutes.
On the Spanish channel Edu lo Prueba, they ran the vacuum in Turbo until it powered off and measured 28 minutes and 40 seconds, which is almost four minutes more than the manufacturer promises. They also noticed—later confirmed by Czajna—that after two to six minutes in Turbo, the motor slightly dials back to avoid overheating. In the cocoa test, the filter stayed clean, even though the bin was already almost full of oats. That’s exactly what the two chambers are for.
Our colleagues from China Planet had the V15 Pro in a longer test in October and ran into how much run time depends on the mode. In Auto mode with the floor nozzle, 25 % of the battery is used up in 6 to 7 minutes, because on a dusty floor the vacuum cleaner often boosts power. In a Czech video on the Testnu To! channel, the battery dropped when vacuuming a 45 m² apartment in Auto mode from 66% to 15%. For a normal apartment, one charge is enough; for the whole house in Auto mode, not so much. With the included charger, the battery charges in 4 to 5 hours.
Where does the cheap vacuum save?
Reviewers agree that the body is entirely made of plastic and feels cheaper than Dyson to the touch. On the French channel OptareTech they weighed the handheld unit itself, which has 1,6 kg, and when vacuuming overhead or in the car they called it heavy and wide. Turbo is loud and the vacuum doesn’t remember the last mode, so after turning it on it always starts in Auto mode.
Czajna estimates the real dustbin capacity at roughly 1,4 liters instead of the stated 1,8, and when they intentionally overfilled it with kilograms of buckwheat, part of it spilled back out through the tube when turned off. With normal vacuuming, when you empty the bin before it’s full to the brim, this doesn’t happen. Colleagues from China Planet also noticed that the two-second tightening/pushing of debris at shutdown doesn’t always catch even heavier pieces—for example, small stones.
Customer satisfaction is still high. On AliExpress, the V15 Pro has an average of 4.9 out of 5 from 150 ratings, and on Amazon, where it’s sold as the V15 Ultra, it’s around 4.5 out of 5 from 115 ratings.
Two chambers instead of one: why suction doesn’t drop even with a full bin
The main technical novelty of the V15 Pro is the dustbin. A standard stick vacuum drives air and dirt through one shared space—dust gradually settles on the filter, and suction weakens precisely when the dustbin is full. Dual-Dustbin Design splits it into two parts: air flows through its own channel, where dirt doesn’t pass, and dirt falls into a separate collection chamber, where it doesn’t reach the filter.
According to the manufacturer, suction stays at maximum even when the collection chamber is almost full, and the HEPA filter plus the steel mesh last up to three months without washing. Behind the filter comes an eight-stage sealed filtration that captures 99.99% of particles from 0.3 micrometers—useful especially for allergy sufferers and households with pets. Empty the bin with a single press right over the trash can and you don’t need to reach into the dirt.
The tube bends in the middle, so you don’t have to bend under the couch
In the box, there’s an extension tube with a joint in the middle that folds down up to 180° and rotates 90° to the sides. This keeps the vacuum body up at your level while the nozzle goes under the couch, bed, or a low dresser—you don’t have to crane your neck. The motor has a 600 W power input, and when you turn it off in Eco mode, it adds power for another two seconds so it also drives into the bin whatever was left in the tube.
The vacuum is powered by a removable battery with a voltage of 29.6 V, which according to Czajna.pl won’t reach full run time immediately, but only after three or four charges. It charges in a wall mount where you can also hang the basic attachments.
Extra accessories: a small brush for the couch and a car hose
SmartAi for the V15 Pro offers two add-ons that aren’t included in the package and are sold separately. The first is a small motorized brush for upholstery. It has its own rotating roller, so it can pull even deeply embedded pet hair from a couch, mattress, or car seat—something a regular upholstery nozzle for seats can’t handle. If you have a dog or a cat at home or you suffer from allergies, the upgraded accessory will come in very handy.
The second is a flexible extension hose. You attach it between the body and the attachment, and when you hold the vacuum in your hand, you can reach the car interior, deep drawers, or high shelves without having to lift the entire vacuum over your head.
Before ordering, with both add-ons check in the seller’s offer that they’re meant for the V15 Pro model. SmartAi also sells older vacuums, for example V6, and their accessories might not fit the V15 Pro.
What you’ll find in the box
The basic package includes the main unit with a container, a motorized floor head with a green light, a battery, and a wall mount with charging. Along with that, you’ll also get a HEPA filter, an extension tube with a middle joint, a long crevice tool, a combined head 2 in 1, a upholstery tool, and a cleaning brush. Colleagues from China Planet also found a second, replacement HEPA filter in the box. For regular apartment cleaning, you won’t miss anything—only consider the small motorized brush and the flexible hose if you need to clean upholstery or a car.
If you clean a bigger home, the higher price box also offers an original replacement battery. You swap it in a few seconds and with two batteries you clean up to twice as long.
