A stunning AMOLED display
Xiaomi offers really great products. To start with, we have to say that the Ticwatch C2 are, in many ways, even better than Xiaomi’s best watches — Amazfit Stratos. We’ll start with the display. It’s a AMOLED, with 1,3″ and a resolution of 360 x 360 px, it offers beautiful colors, true black, and great visibility in the sun.
The display is set in a stainless steel bezel, and the premium feel is completed by an original 20 mm leather strap. The watches also include a pair of physical buttons.
Full-featured WearOS
The Ticwatch C2 is powered by a processor specially designed for modern smartwatches – Qualcomm Snapdragon W2100. The performance is enough for smooth system operation and for all the actions you can do with the watch. The chip is backed by 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage, for example for music.
The watch runs on WearOS directly from Google. It’s a special Android version tailored for smartwatch use. That means you get all the apps from the Google Play store, including Spotify, Google Maps, Messenger, Uber, and the popular sports app Strava.
Heart-rate monitoring, GPS, and NFC payments
Since these are well-crafted smartwatches, they can’t be missing sports features either. The heart-rate sensor takes care of your workout results, and the GPS records your route. The sensors here also include an accelerometer and gyroscope, and of course there’s NFC for contactless payments via Google Pay.
