Xiaomi 12 Lite fully revealed before the launch: Elegant angular design, Snapdragon 778G and 120 Hz display

Xiaomi 12 Lite has made itself known again. Xiaomi hasn’t officially unveiled it yet, but on the official Xiaomi page for Azerbaijan it was accidentally revealed.

Along with it, the information also surfaced that the pre-order will run from June 30 to July 8, meaning the global launch is already just around the corner.

Confirmed design

As you can see from the leaked renders, they match the leaked renders that showed the upcoming smartphone from all angles.

The back looks very similar to what we’ve already seen with the remaining models of the Xiaomi 12 series. The difference, though, is in the frames, which will be flat, while the smartphones in the Xiaomi 2 series had them slightly rounded.

The last visual difference is the display. The selfie camera with a resolution of 32MP will also be here, but the display will be completely flat, so there will be no curved edges. It’s as if Xiaomi was inspired by the current iPhones.

These will be its specifications

The display itself will have a diagonal of 6.55 inches with Full HD + resolution and a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. Support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision won’t be missing either. A fingerprint reader will also be integrated into the panel.

Inside, you’ll find a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, which is the same processor Xiaomi also used for the previous generation. It will be supported by 8 GB RAM and a 128-gigabyte storage.

Even in such a thin build, Xiaomi will fit stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The camera setup will include a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro.

We’ll see how the battery with just 4,300 mAh performs. That’s mainly thanks to the thickness, which will be only 7.29 mm with a weight of 173 grams. But you’ll be pleased by the 67-watt fast charging. Android 12 won’t be missing either, along with the MIUI 13 interface.
