Xiaomi is preparing a new product that will please more than one gamer. The new gaming monitor should offer a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. This will make it the fastest Xiaomi monitor to date.
New Xiaomi gaming monitor
A new leak revealed that Xiaomi is preparing the launch of a new gaming monitor. The news was shared by verified sources such as Ishan Agarwal via Twitter and the Pricebaba website, which also revealed the 165 Hz display technology.
According to the leaked information, we could look forward to the new monitor already next week.
27 inches and 165 Hz
Based on the available leaks, we know that the gaming novelty will offer a 27-inch display with a high refresh rate up to 165 Hz.
However, this is not the first product in the monitor category. Back in October 2019, the manufacturer launched the gaming monitor Mi Gaming Monitor 34″ with a 34-inch diagonal and a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
This monitor features QHD resolution (2K) and very slim bezels with a thickness of just 2 mm. To this day, the monitor remains quite popular.
A gaming monitor with a smaller diagonal could therefore be a more affordable option along the lines of the monitor from the parent brand’s Redmi subsidiary—plus a nice bonus of a higher refresh rate. The arrival of this model during the month of June 2020 has already been hinted at by previous leaks.
Would you buy a new Xiaomi gaming monitor? Would you find a use for a truly high refresh rate of 165 Hz? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions with us in the discussion below the article.
