At its anniversary August conference, Xiaomi announced three new chargers in addition to new smartphones and a transparent TV.
These include a wireless charging stand named Mi 55W Wireless Charging Stand, an intelligent 20 W charging pad for wireless charging of 2 devices simultaneously, and a car charger with a power of up to 100 W.
Mi 55W Wireless Charging Stand
The wireless charger comes in an elegant two-tone design. The top, charging area is black, while the base is in a gold color and is likely made of metal. There is also a LED diode at the bottom of the wireless charger that lights up when the device is charging.
The charger can charge any Xiaomi smartphone that supports wireless charging, including the Mi 10 Ultra. It supports fast wireless charging up to 50 W. Extended Power Profile (EPP) functionality is also included.
The price of the Mi 55W Wireless Charging Stand wireless charging stand is 199 Chinese yuan (29 USD / 25 EUR), which is the same price as the 30 W wireless charger that was announced alongside the Mi 10 series in March this year.
Mi 20W Smart Tracking Charging Pad
Last year, Xiaomi introduced a wireless charging pad that doesn’t require you to place your smartphone in a specific spot.
All you need to do is place the device on the pad, and the sensor will automatically find the position of your smartphone—or another device—and start charging it.
The intelligent wireless Mi 20W pad has a price tag of 499 Chinese yuan (72 USD / 61 EUR). It comes in white, and you can charge 2 devices at the same time with support for wireless charging.
Car charger with up to 100 W power
If you travel often, Xiaomi has a great and fast charger for you. The Mi 100 W car charger costs just 99 Chinese yuan (14 USD / 12 EUR) and offers USB-C and USB-A ports. It’s probably the fastest car charger currently available on the market.
The charger has a maximum output of 68 W when charging two devices at the same time, while the USB-A port has a maximum output of 18 W. The USB-C port delivers up to 100 W, but only when charging one device.
The smartphone Mi 10 Ultra charges from zero to 100% in just 25 minutes. The Mi 100 W car charger will go on sale as early as August 18.
