Not long ago, we reported on the new upcoming headphones from Xiaomi. They are called Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Pro or, in this case, Xiaomi Mi Air 2 Pro.
Elegant design and active noise cancelation
Recently, leaked photos of the design and specifications of Xiaomi’s upcoming headphones have appeared online. They only confirm the previous leaked information, including ANC functionality, which will be the first in the company’s lineup.
The Xiaomi Mi Air 2 Pro headphones appeared online some time ago in Bluetooth SIG certification and certification by Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). They reveal certain features of these new wireless headphones while also showing their design.
Touch controls shouldn’t be missing, along with wireless charging, active noise cancelation, or decent battery life on a single charge. Based on the size of the charging case, it should also offer multiple top-ups for the earbuds, extending their total battery life.
A well-known Chinese leaker using the nickname Digital Chat Station shared a look at the earbuds’ design in his Twitter post. Of course, the Air 2 Pro are fully compatible with Xiaomi’s MIUI interface. They keep the same approach as the earlier released Xiaomi Mi Air 2 SE.

In the picture, we can see that it’s a squared-off, yet matte design in dark colors. The charging case looks quite large, which could be a pro or a con. The advantage could be a larger battery capacity, but because of its size it may be inconvenient to carry in your trouser pocket.
Xiaomi is currently silent about the release date
Xiaomi Mi Air 2 Pro will be Xiaomi’s first headphones to offer ANC – active noise cancelation. Thanks to that, you’ll be able to enjoy any audio content to the fullest, even in a busy environment.
Even though we still don’t know the official release date, they are expected to be announced soon. The subsequent market launch is expected to happen within this month.
