The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi introduced its first two monitors in 2019 – a gaming 34″ with 144 Hz and a smaller, more affordable Xiaomi Mi Desktop Monitor 23.8″ with FullHD resolution and a 23.8-inch diagonal.
The smaller model just landed an excellent deal with a well-known international seller, and a coupon is also available.

Xiaomi Mi Desktop Monitor 23.8″
Alongside the large 34-inch curved gaming monitor, Xiaomi also launched the smaller Xiaomi Mi Desktop Monitor 23.8″ with the model number XMMNT238CB.
The monitor impresses mainly with very thin bezels on the top and side edges, with a thickness of only about 3 mm.
It features a 23.8-inch display (60.5 cm), Full HD resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels, and a viewing angle in the range of 178 degreesv. The manufacturer chose a quality IPS panel that delivers accurate—yet still vivid—color reproduction.
Like the larger monitor, the smaller model also has a low blue-light emission mode. The monitor even received the prestigious TÜV Rheinland certification, which specifically refers to minimal harmful impact on human eyesight.
The refresh rate is the standard 60 Hz, and at this price you wouldn’t expect anything higher. Brightness reaches 250 nits and contrast is 1000:1. Panel response time is 6 ms (GTG) and the aspect ratio is the classic 16:9.
Xiaomi Mi Desktop Monitor 23.8″ comes with a simple minimalist design, and the control buttons are hidden on the right bottom bezel under the screen. On the back you’ll find only the logo, the power connector, and the HDMI connector.
It’s bundled with a cylindrical stand that can only adjust the screen tilt, but it doesn’t support height adjustment or rotation. In the box you’ll get the basic accessories, including a power adapter and an HDMI cable.
Another interesting point is that Xiaomi provides an extended three-year warranty for the monitor. However, it’s likely that you can claim it only directly at the manufacturer’s service center in China.
