A possible price for the expected Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 leaked. If it’s confirmed, it’ll be a real powerhouse.

We’re at the Xiaomi Planet editorial office really looking forward to the official presentation of the new tablet Xiaomi Mi Pad 5, and a new leak of information has also revealed a possible retail price for this product. If it’s confirmed, it should offer a very strong price-to-performance ratio that will pleasantly surprise you.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5: This is the estimated retail price

The upcoming tablet from Xiaomi has already appeared in several previous information leaks. The latest one suggests that the base version of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will be priced at under 2000 Chinese yuan.

The info comes from MyDrivers, and the retail price will most likely be around 1999 Chinese yuan. That’s roughly € 262 / 308 USD after conversion.

As mentioned, this price applies to the base variant of the upcoming tablet. It should come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor, and it shouldn’t be missing manufacturer accessories like a keyboard or a stylus.

For a potential international launch, however, you should definitely expect an increase in the retail price. Official distribution of this product to Europe could raise the final retail price to approximately 349 – 399 €. A similar price increase has been seen with previous Xiaomi products that were officially launched here in Europe as well.

A total of three different Mi Pad 5 models

The Chinese manufacturer still hasn’t disclosed the official launch date for the new tablet series Mi Pad 5. However, given the many information leaks, we expect the reveal in the coming weeks, during August 2021.

Besides the mentioned base model with the Snapdragon 860 processor, we should also see two more tablets. They should offer more powerful Snapdragon 870 or Snapdragon 888 5G processors, as well as additional technologies.
