The company Xiaomi has only recently released its smart band Mi Band 5 into the world, and now we already have its cheaper variant in the form of Mi Smart Band 4C. While the Mi Band 5 is a successor, the Mi Smart Band 4C is simply a rebranded Redmi Band for the global market.
Redmi Band was also introduced only recently as a cheaper alternative, but Xiaomi decided to use a potentially confusing name for the global market, namely Mi Smart Band 4C. Still, at the price of 19,99 EUR, it offers genuinely interesting features.

The global version of the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C is now going on sale on the well-known shopping portal AliExpress, where it also has the best price.
The band is really cheap and even the shipping is completely free.
Redmi Band as Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C
The global version of the Redmi Band is currently the cheapest smart band from Xiaomi. The design has been slightly improved, but the angular shapes are still there, along with its resemblance to the competition from Fitbit.
Compared to last year’s Mi Band 4, this version already has a built-in USB connector inside the device body, hidden under the strap itself. That means you can charge it simply by plugging it into a USB port, for example on a notebook.
The screen itself has a 1,08″ diagonal. On the color TFT display, you’ll be able to set up as many as 72 different watch faces right from the start. They should, of course, increase over time—either officially or via the fan community.
From the smartwatch’s features, you’ll find, for example, a heart-rate sensor, sleep monitoring, various sports modes – outdoor running, a treadmill, fast walking, cycling, and free training, or notifications (especially with a desk job) about too little movement. There’s also Bluetooth 5.0 and water resistance 5ATM.
In battery life, the older “brother”, Mi Band 4, outlasts it. However, it can be equal to the current Mi Band 5, where the battery life is identical to that of the Mi Smart Band 4C, namely 14 days.
Of course, it depends on how demanding your usage is. However, compared to Mi Band 5, the Mi Smart Band 4C comes with a lower price tag.
The cheapest Xiaomi smart band
The new Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C costs 159 Hong Kong dollars, which is about 18 EUR / 20 USD. For now, it’s only sold in Hong Kong, but it should reach the European market soon.
