From the world of phones, those you could operate effortlessly with one hand are gradually disappearing, and it’s getting harder and harder to find a small phone. None of us would mind having such a smartphonе. A little spark of hope comes from Qin in cooperation with Xiaomi in the form of a new smartphone. It will surprise you with many specs.

It can handle games too:
You’ll love its size
The Qin 2 phone from Xiaomi is definitely among the compact ones. Thanks to dimensions 132.6 mm x 55.4 mm x 8.6 mm and a weight of just 105 g, it’ll be easy to control even while walking with one hand.
The phone is only 8.6 mm thick. On the front, it boasts a full-screen HD IPS display with a resolution of 1440 × 576 pixels, 5.05″ diagonal, and an aspect ratio of 22.5:9. With very thin bezels and a small display, it’s truly a highly compact smartphone.
On the body, you’ll also find the classic power button and a volume button, but also a button to launch an intelligent voice assistant. Since it’s the global version, the button will launch Google Assistant.
On the back, you’ll also find a camera. Its specs aren’t anything mind-blowing, but it can still serve as a backup camera. It uses a sensor with only 5 MP resolution.
Reasonable hardware
As we’ve probably all noticed, the phone isn’t meant to compete with flagship models like Mi 10 or Black Shark 3. A simple, small smartphone is mainly intended for smaller kids and retirees. It can also work as your primary phone for calls or as a backup smartphone.
The device’s hardware has been appropriately tailored for that. The phone is powered by a Spreadtrum 4-core SC9832E processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.4 GHz, complemented by a Mali-T820 MP1 graphics chip.
Qin 2 comes in a configuration with 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, without microSD expansion support. The whole phone is powered by a battery with a capacity of 2100 mAh. In standby use, the smartphone can last up to 10 days without needing to recharge.
Fast and smooth system
The phone runs Android Go. Android Go is a lightweight version of Android 9 Pie. It’s designed for the cheapest and less powerful mobile phones with RAM from 512 MB up to 1 GB. Despite optimization, Android Go should still offer the standards we’re used to with Android 9.
We’ve already been able to see this “light” version of Android 9 in the Redmi Go model, where it was used as well. Thanks to Android Go and its excellent optimization, the phone runs smoothly and handles even demanding tasks. Since this is the global version of the phone, you’ll find full support for the Slovak and Czech languages. There’s also Google Play with apps.
Wide range of connectivity options
The Qin 2 smartphone is a full-fledged representative of today’s mobile world. It will win over its fans thanks to its distinctive specifications, but it also doesn’t lack standard connectivity.
It comes with Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth version 4.2, GPS, and an infrared remote control. On the other hand, it’s missing the 3,5 mm jack or NFC. A pleasant surprise for this price category is the USB Type‑C charging connector.
In Slovakia and the Czech Republic, you can use it without any issues. The only thing you need to watch out for is that the phone doesn’t support our LTE bands B20 (800 MHz). That means you can’t use 4G in our latitudes and longitudes. Supported bands are B1 / 2 / 3 / 5 / 8.
The package includes the smartphone itself, a plastic case, a SIM card ejector pin, and a USB‑C power cable. Again, we can see the effort to keep the price as low as possible, since there’s no charging adapter included. Overall, it’s an excellent phone for an excellent price. Compared to the competition, it offers very compact dimensions that will be appreciated by more than one customer.
