Xiaomi Scooter 3 Lite: The global version of a 250 W scooter
Just a few months after its debut on the Chinese market, the new affordable electric scooter is now also a reality in its global version. Xiaomi Scooter 3 Lite is an upgrade over its cheaper predecessors, such as the Mi Electric Scooter Essential.
The scooter’s design takes after its more expensive siblings and brings 8.5″ tires, quick folding of the frame, or a clear LCD display. The scooter appeared on the manufacturer’s global website, where we can see all the key technical specifications. However, the page does not mention a sales start date.
Among the most important updates in this generation is, for example, a more robust build, with a ground clearance of 141 millimeters. This delivers better stability while riding. The footboard base is also larger by 10 millimeters. The display can show more information, including high-temperature indications, mechanical faults, slipping, cruise control, and more.
You’ll like the improved braking system this time too—it also includes a disc brake, promising stronger braking power. The electric motor offers 250 W, a top speed of 25 km/h, and a range of up to 20 kilometers, provided by the 5200 mAh battery.
Price and availability of the new electric scooter
The Xiaomi Scooter 3 Lite is coming to the global market quietly, without a press conference. We still don’t know the official price or the start of sales in Europe. However, we expect it to happen within the next few weeks.
