Xiaomi Smart Band 8: 1.62″ AMOLED and 5ATM certification
The smart bracelet Xiaomi Smart Band 8 continues the design of its predecessors and, with its pill shape, fills the space in the silicone strap, which is removable again this time. The strap attachment has changed—it now clicks directly into the body of these watches.
The construction also includes enhanced water and dust resistance, with certification 5ATM. The display is HD AMOLED, and compared to the previous generation it has grown by 25%. It has a diagonal of 1,62″, refresh rate 60 Hz and the resulting smoothness at 326 ppi.
The maximum brightness is 600 nits, so the quality of this display starts to get close to smartphones. A novelty in this generation is also intelligent brightness, which lets you smoothly adjust the value based on the surrounding lighting conditions.
150 sports activities and maximum battery life up to 16 days
With the 8th generation, you can enjoy monitoring up to 150 sports activities. Sleep and stress monitoring is also included, as well as all-day monitoring of blood oxygen levels (SpO2 function). All-day heart-rate monitoring is also complemented by menstrual cycle tracking, an alarm clock, or the weather. You’ll also be pleased with a few wrist games, e.g. 2048.
The built-in battery offers battery life of up to 16 days with standard use. With active and heavy usage, this battery life drops to 6 days.
In the box, you’ll find the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 itself, as well as the black silicone strap directly from the manufacturer. You’ll also get a charging USB cable with a practical magnetic connector, plus a brief user manual and the initial device setup instructions, in Slovak.
