Xiaomi is expanding its Mijia ecosystem with Siemens smart appliances. This means users can now get direct access to these premium European home devices without workarounds or using multiple apps.

Easy connection and setup
The integration of Siemens appliances into Xiaomi Home is designed to be as convenient as possible. In the Mijia app, the user clicks the option “Add device”, then selects “Devices from other platforms”, chooses “Bosch & Siemens smart home appliances”, signs in with their Siemens credentials, and selects the appliances they want to sync. The entire process is based on the plug-and-play principle, which means fast and trouble-free setup.
The integration isn’t limited to a narrow group of devices, but covers the whole portfolio of Siemens smart appliances. In the Mijia app, you can control washing machines and dryers, steam ovens, intelligent dishwashers, smart refrigerators, premium coffee machines, and built-in beverage dispensers. The advantage is that instead of several separate apps, users get one central place to manage all their devices.
Advanced control and automation
The connection brings full control over appliances, including real-time status monitoring, setting up automations, and flexible scheduling. Voice commands via Super Xiaoai are also supported, which means Siemens appliances can be controlled completely hands-free.
A shared ecosystem therefore brings a more convenient and premium smart home, where products from two companies, Xiaomi and Siemens, are combined under one digital roof. If, in the future, more “third-party” smart home devices were added, we would definitely welcome it—and for users, it would of course mean a significant plus.
