Just in a few days, specifically on September 9 / září 2019, we should finally get the official unveiling of Mi Charge Turbo, the new generation of wireless charging from Xiaomi. According to current information, it should be truly powerful charging, which will become part of the upcoming 5G era.
What will the charging power be?
Using 5G connectivity is tough on the battery, and that’s exactly why the new Xiaomi fast wireless charging technology could save potential customers a lot of trouble. The main improvement should, of course, be power. Right now, it provides users with 20 W wireless charging.
The new technology should push the said parameter all the way up to 27 W. At the announced Xiaomi 5G conference, within the product lineup there could also be new models of Xiaomi wireless chargers—alongside the updated technology.
The Chinese competitor Huawei, however, doesn’t sleep and, a month ago, it certified a wireless charger with up to 30 W for its flagship Huawei Mate 30 Pro.
Following 5G, the already prepared model Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 could also get the new charging. More information about the upcoming products could also come from another planned press conference, which will take place on September 17 in India.
