The launch of the new flagship smartphone from Xiaomi is getting closer and closer, and with it comes an increased frequency of information leaks. Besides the device’s new design, the Snapdragon 865 processor, and the ability to record up to 8K video, we now also know more details about the battery and stereo speakers.
Stereo speakers in the top and bottom frame
The expected specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 10 will make a big leap when it comes to audio. After all, there will be a pair of stereo speakers. As confirmed by the company itself, the new flagship handset will feature two interconnected speakers.
The first one, as usual, will be placed in the lower part of the device next to the charging connector. The second part will be integrated into the top section.
In addition, the smartphone will include 32-bit Hi-Fi DAC functionality. It can intelligently detect the scenario you’re in. Thanks to this feature, the sound level and modulation are automatically adjusted, improving your overall listening experience.
With this feature, Xiaomi aims to deliver an excellent stereophonic experience—perfect for watching movies and series, listening to music, or playing popular mobile games.
A large 4400 mAh battery
Unlike the older Mi 9 model, which has only a 3,300 mAh battery, the new model Xiaomi Mi 10 will offer an impressive 4,400 mAh. This capacity, combined with balanced and intelligent power consumption thanks to the Snapdragon 865 processor, can provide fairly good battery life exceeding the average for a single working day.
As we can see in the published images, the Mi 10 model’s hardware components have been carefully designed to efficiently free up as much internal space as possible. The chosen approach makes it possible to fit a battery with such a high capacity without needing to increase the thickness of the device itself.
