The whole world is eagerly awaiting the launch of the Redmi Note 14 series for the global market. In China, these smartphones are already on sale. Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G is, according to the manufacturer, the most elegant model in the brand’s lineup, and compared to its predecessors it offers better specs—though it’s also more expensive.
Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G in the Deutsche Telekom catalog
From time to time, a retailer or mobile operator reveals a device’s specs even before its official presentation. This is exactly the current case with Deutsche Telekom, whose listing already has the most fully equipped model from the current series, even though it hasn’t been globally announced yet.
On the carrier’s website, the device is available in two colors – Frost Blue and Midnight Black, in a configuration with 256 GB storage and 8 GB RAM for the price of 499 euros. The interesting part is the availability info, which says 1–4 days.
You won’t find a charging adapter in the box, but the USB-C cable is still included. That’s a bit of a shame, because the device supports wired charging up to 120 W. The battery has a capacity of 5110 mAh, which is significantly less than the 6200 mAh in the Chinese model.
200-megapixel camera and solid performance
Besides the price, Telekom also confirmed the expected specs. The global variant of Redmi Note 14 Pro+ comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset built on a 4 nm manufacturing process. It’s an upper mid-range chip that can handle even demanding games, and everyday phone use should be максимально smooth.
The web also mentions a main camera with a resolution of 200 megapixels, which is supposed to be one of the main attractions of the new product. However, the Chinese version has a main camera with a resolution of “only” 50 megapixels.
Other cameras aren’t mentioned, but we expect a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and an ultra-wide camera with a 120° field of view.
Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G has a 1290 Hz display and IP68
It will even come with increased dust and water resistance with the IP68 certification, which isn’t the norm for the mid-range. It can handle submersion in water without any issues.
The large front display has a 120 Hz refresh rate, and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 cover glass—some of the best protection on the market.
Telekom lists 1×5,K resolution and maximum brightness capped at 3000 nits. However, it doesn’t state the diagonal size, but it shouldn’t differ from the Chinese model, so it should be 6,67 inches.
