You have to see this: a great official teardown video shows the components of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra

On the occasion of Xiaomi’s 10th anniversary, the company introduced a wide range of products. The biggest draw was, of course, Mi 10 Ultra.

The flagship comes with several great features, including 120W fast charging, a periscope lens, or a 120 Hz AMOLED display.

The first teardown video of Mi 10 Ultra

Xiaomi recently released a teardown video for the Mi 10 Ultra, letting us take a look at what’s inside the device. This time it’s an official video straight from the manufacturer’s production.

The video is only two minutes long, but that’s enough to show all the details you need to see. The first component visible once the back cover is removed is the NFC chip and the coil for wireless 50 W charging.

The video also mentions the speed of wireless charging, which charges the smartphone from 0 to 100% in just 40 minutes. The charging speed is even higher with the included wired charger, which charges the battery with a capacity of 4 500 mAh in an unbelievable 23 minutes.

On the camera side, you can see all the sensors along with a periscope zoom sensor that bends light routed to the main sensor. The main camera is a 48 MPx sensor Sony IMX586.

Three cooling systems

Next, we can see three cooling solutions that Xiaomi implemented in the Mi 10 Ultra. This includes a graphene-copper tube for the chipset, RAM and storage, as well as the modem. There’s also graphene combined with a copper vapor chamber under the front panel again.

It’s finished off by a highly conductive layer that sits directly between the optical fingerprint scanner and the OLED display, which helps dissipate heat on the 110 cm² display area.

The phone is also equipped with a vibration motor on the X-axis, which is placed directly under the battery. It also offers a dual stereo speaker system.
