Xiaomi is the market leader with its Mi Bands in the wearables category. It’s also trying to break through with smart watches it’s preparing in cooperation with its subsidiary Huami.
The Amazfit BIP are very popular, as they’re the most affordable full-featured smartwatch from this brand. After a while, you can also buy them at a reasonable price.

Water resistance and battery life of 45 days
Without a doubt, the biggest draw of Huami Amazfit BIP smart watches is their long battery life. In standby mode they last up to 45 days, which is even more than on an inexpensive Mi Band bracelet. At the same time, they offer many more features.
As with any real smart watch, the Amazfit BIP doesn’t lack IP68 water resistance. Thanks to that, they can handle swimming and even submersion. All the information from your sports activity is shown on the touchscreen 1.28″ display.
GPS and heart rate sensor
The display has a resolution of 176 x 176 pixels, is color and uses an extremely energy-efficient technology – reflective panel. Thanks to this, the display is visible even when it’s turned off, without backlight. The more light hits it, the better it’s visible.
In the watch’s specs, you’ll also find GPS with Glonass, enabling it to record an accurate route of your workout.
The heart rate sensor gives you real-time data about your heart rate. Of course, the watch also supports displaying app notifications, letting you know about an incoming call or SMS.
Later, you can view all your workout data in the Mi Fit app, where statistics and charts are generated automatically.
Through the app, you can also make all the watch settings. It connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0 and supports Android 4.4+ and iOS 8+.
