Amazfit Bip U will be new smart watches for very little money with a nice design and SpO2 measurement

For a time, Amazfit Bip watches were very popular thanks to their low price. They offered water resistance, battery life of up to 45 days, GPS, and a heart-rate sensor. This time, their successor is here in the form of the Amazfit Bip U series. They’ll keep the low price and can also measure blood oxygen levels.

A successful Huami brand

Amazfit smart watches and Mi Band, which are very popular, are made by Huami, a company that’s part of the Xiaomi ecosystem. Recently, this brand has been bringing us plenty of new releases, such as the retro-styled Amazfit Neo watch or the new Amazfit GTR and GTS series watches.

This time, we’ve received the first information about the next new release – Amazfit Bip U. These watches haven’t been officially unveiled yet, but we already know they’ll include a feature you’ll usually find only in more expensive watches – blood oxygen monitoring.

SpO2 measurement

Many users asked Huami to integrate blood oxygen monitoring into their watches. The requests were heard, so fans will be able to get this feature starting with the Amazfit GTR 2 and GTS 2 models.

But if you’re looking for a cheaper solution, here’s great news – this function will also come to the new Amazfit Bip U smart watches, which should keep their low price.

What will the Amazfit Bip U bring compared to the Amazfit Bip S?

The latest version of the popular Amazfit Bip series was the S model. Compared to it, though, we can look forward to a few changes.

Amazfit Bip U will get a larger 1.43″ display. The older version had a 1.28″ display, so the new watches will be bigger in size as well. You’ll find more than 60 different sports modes, so you can track your activity during them. You also won’t miss GPS, stress monitoring, or the PAI score.

A slight disappointment came with the information about battery life on a single charge. It should drop from 40 to 9 days.

Price and availability are not known yet. However, it’s expected that they could be cheaper than the previous version. English-language posters suggest the watches will also be available for the European market.
