Great price 58 € directly in the EU warehouse: Beautiful Amazfit GTS 2e watches with temperature measurement and blood oxygenation

Recently, we brought you an article about the announcement of completely new versions of the Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e watches in China. Less than a month later, Amazfit published information with the presentation date for the watches in Europe.

Sale prices thanks to Aliexpress clearance

Amazfit watch models like the GTS 2e have gone on sale on the Aliexpress portal. They’re available directly in a Polish warehouse with express delivery.

Buying on AliExpress for the first time?

This process is done through the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. Two things matter: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary in the Promo code field. After you click Pay now, you can’t add it anymore.

  4. Fill in your address and card, then look for Promo codeIn the order summary, first enter the delivery address and payment card at the top. Below that, there’s a line Promo code — expand it with the arrow on the right.

  5. Paste the code and confirm ApplyIn the field Promo code paste the copied code and click the black Apply. The code is case-sensitive and must not contain spaces.

  6. Check your savings and payIn the section Summary expand the line Saved — you’ll see the applied coupon there as AliExpress coupons/codes. Only when Total is really lower, click Pay now.

Apply the discount again in the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can’t add a coupon anymore. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your item, or your order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.
Store Coupon also belongs in the same field. — a coupon from the seller itself, which isn’t always available and changes day to day. It can’t be combined with an AliExpress coupon, so try both and go with the one that gives you more. Coins are added automatically.

Presentation at the CES conference 2021

You’ve definitely heard about the tech conference CES, which every year brings interesting product showcases and debates on various topics in the digital platforms and products space. This year, the conference takes place from January 11 to January 14, and on the very first day, Amazfit presents the new Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e watches in Europe versions.

Amazfit itself informed you through its Twitter social media account, where they shared a short video with the presentation date.

Measuring body temperature

The biggest draw of the new GTS 2e and GTR 2e watch versions is an interesting new feature: measuring body temperature. It’s not a standard function we’d find in every smartwatch.

The GTR 2e and GTS 2e smartwatches can measure body temperature continuously, similar to measuring heart rate. Since an elevated temperature is one of the main symptoms of COVID-19, this feature will surely be appreciated by many customers during the current pandemic.

On the other hand, the 2e series watches don’t have WiFi support. They work only via Bluetooth. Since we don’t have WiFi support here, battery life per charge has improved.

The GTR 2e can last up to 24 days, while the GTS 2e model has battery life of up to 14 days per charge. These figures apply to “typical” daily use.

So it’s not exactly an upgraded version of the watches, because in exchange for temperature measurement we lose WiFi support. This is how Amazfit offers an alternative to the Amazfit GTS 2 and GTR 2 models. By the way, we’re also waiting for the Amazfit GTR 2 watches. As soon as they’re delivered to us, we’ll bring you a review.

A complete “family” of watches

With this announcement, the Amazfit brand brings a full lineup of Amazfit GTR 2 and GTS 2 watches to the global market too. The two models mentioned above are joined by the GTS 2 Mini, which we’ve also written about, as well as a new GTR 2 LTE watch model, which is expected to add 4G LTE connectivity, probably via eSIM technology.

Price and availability

The new versions of the Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e should be sold on the global market for a price of 129.99 €. The exact date when they will go on sale is not known yet. Amazfit has not released this information yet.

Since the global launch came less than a month after the China unveiling, we assume it won’t take long for sales to start in our market either.
