The global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is officially here, and Xiaomi is once again pushing the limits of the mid-range. We first saw this model a few months ago in China, but now it’s also coming to international markets in a slightly updated version.

You only have about half an hour to pay. There’s a countdown on the Confirm to pay button — when it runs out, the order is canceled and you have to create it again. So enter the coupon before you start paying.

A camera built to be the headline feature of the global version

The biggest difference versus the Chinese version is clearly the main camera. While the Chinese model offered a 50 MPx sensor, the global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G got a 200 MPx HPE sensor. It supports 2× and 4× lossless zoom directly on the sensor and works with five focal distances in the range from 23 mm to 92 mm.

The second camera is an 8 MPx ultra-wide lens that you already know from the Chinese version. For the global model, however, Xiaomi decided to skip the 50 MPx telephoto lens — definitely a shame.

A high-brightness display with better protection

On the front you’ll find a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness up to 3,200 nits ensures excellent readability even in direct sunlight. The resolution is slightly different from the Chinese version and comes in at 2772 × 1280 pixels, which is still more than enough for a sharp image.

For the global model, Xiaomi used protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 instead of the Dragon Crystal Glass used in China.

Performance, the system, and modern connectivity

The same chipset Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 handles performance in both versions, offering a very good balance of power and energy efficiency. The phone runs on HyperOS, and you also get modern technologies like Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and eSIM support. Of course, there’s also an in-display fingerprint reader and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support.

There’s also support for Xiaomi Offline Communication, which enables voice communication between devices without a mobile signal over distances of a few kilometers. Better signal reception is handled by the Xiaomi Surge T1S Tuner chip, which optimizes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and mobile networks.

Battery and charging, focused on speed

The global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G comes with a 6500 mAh Si/C battery, which is slightly less than the 7,000 mAh in the Chinese version. On the other hand, it supports fast 100 W charging, which will top up the phone in a very short time. There’s also 22.5 W reverse wired charging for accessories or other devices.

One interesting point is that despite the smaller battery, the global version is slightly thicker. In everyday use, though, you won’t really notice it.

Color options, memory configurations, prices, and availability

You can choose from three color options: Black, Mocha Brown, and Glacier Blue. Xiaomi offers three memory variants: 8 GB RAM / 128 GB storage, 12 GB RAM / 256 GB, and 12 GB RAM / 512 GB. This way, you can pick a configuration that fits your needs.

Global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G launches at a price 499 € for the memory configuration 8 GB RAM / 256 GB storage. The higher variant 12 GB RAM / 512 GB will be available for €549. Pre-orders start January 5, while availability in individual EU countries may vary slightly depending on the market and distribution.
