This process is done through the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. Two things matter: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary in the Promo code field. After you click Pay now, you can’t add it anymore.

Amazfit GTR 3 Pro: Specs

The round construction Amazfit GTR 3 Pro is made of aerospace-grade aluminum and has a low weight of just 32 grams. Two versions will go on sale – Brown Leather with a light body (with a leather strap) and Infinite Black with a black body (and a silicone strap).

The watches feature a larger 1.45″ AMOLED display with a rounded protective glass. It has a fine 331 ppi and high brightness up to 1000 nits. Thanks to thin bezels (the display takes up 70.6% of the front), the watch has the same size as the standard GTR 3 model (with a smaller 1.39″ panel). The screen refresh rate has also been increased, according to the manufacturer, by up to 67%.

On the watch body you’ll find two buttons, with the top one essentially acting as a crown. With it, you can browse the menu options and also read longer notifications more easily. There are more than 150 watch faces, and each of them has its own screen within the Always-On function. Some watch faces can also be customized, or you can choose which elements to display (heart rate, steps, etc.).

With the new watch generation, there’s also an improved ZeppOS operating system. And while it’s still not on the level of WearOS, it already supports third-party apps. For example, there’s the Home Connect app, which lets you control various smart home products. The manufacturer is also preparing a tool to create your own watch faces — or even apps — along with a detailed step-by-step guide.

Sync with Google Fit and support for Amazon Alexa

The watches can sync your tracked health data with the Apple Health and Google Fit apps. Support for popular apps like Strava, Relive, RunKeeper and more won’t be missing either. (some apps won’t be available right away when the watches are released.) Amazfit GTR 3 Pro offers more than 150 sports modes. It’s water-resistant (5 ATM certification), so it handles swimming and can even monitor your heart rate underwater.

The Pro model will offer satellite-based positioning using five different inputs. This reduces the time to get a location fix by 20% and also increases accuracy by up to 40%. There’s also VO2 Max monitoring, plus an evaluation of your pace compared to previous workouts, recovery time, and more. GTR 3 Pro they’ll also include 24-hour heart-rate monitoring and SpO2 blood oxygen monitoring.

This model will be the only one in the trio to feature a built-in microphone and speaker. That way, you can make phone calls through the watch or give commands via the Amazon Alexa smart assistant, which is also part of the package. Offline assistant commands are also available in English, German, and Spanish.

Even though the watches themselves don’t have an internet connection (they rely on a connected smartphone), there’s 2,3 GB of internal storage available. That’s exactly what you’ll use to save music or podcasts, which you can then listen to—for example, while running.

With standard use, the manufacturer rates battery life at 12 days. Excessive load—such as frequent calling—then cuts battery life in half. With continuous GPS connection, the watch lasts for 35 hours, and the battery saver mode can extend it up to a month.

Amazfit GTR 3

The Amazfit GTR 3 model shares the aluminum design of the more expensive Pro model, but it comes with a slightly smaller display with a 1.39″ diagonal. It delivers similar sharpness for a crisp image and also offers brightness up to 1,000 nits. However, the slightly thicker bezels around the display indicate that the screen-to-front-body ratio is 66%.

The watches will go on sale in Thunder Black and Moonlight Grey variants, both with silicone straps. You’ll be able to choose from more than 100 watch faces to customize the look, including versions for Always-On mode.

GTR 3 is not just a cheaper version of the Pro model. It has better battery life, up to 21 days of standard use (that’s about a week more than the GTR 2) or 10 days of heavy use. The battery saver mode extends battery life to 35 days. The watches also feature built-in GPS technology—when used continuously, the battery lasts 35 hours.

Amazfit GTS 3

The GTS series offers a rectangular design. You’ll appreciate this when reading longer notifications, as well as when using third-party apps. Here too, the manufacturer increased the screen size compared to the previous model—from 1.65″ to 1.75″. The pixel density is 341 ppi, and thanks to the thin bezels, the display takes up to 72.4% of the front area. High brightness of 1000 nits is included, along with Always-On support.

Amazfit GTS 3 will be available in Graphite Black, Terra Rosa, and Ivory White editions. You’ll also like the low weight—just 24.4 grams—and the thickness that stops at 8.8 millimeters. However, the price of that slim design is the battery. With standard usage, the GTS 3 lasts 12 days. Heavy use drains it in 6 days, while continuous GPS lasts 20 hours.

Despite that, the resulting battery life is an improvement over its predecessor – GTS 2. It offered 7 days. The two models – GTR 3 and GTS 3 support Amazon Alexa. However, they don’t have a speaker, and thus no phone call functionality. There’s also no internal storage for your music or podcasts.

Price and availability of the new smartwatches

Three new watches – Amazfit GTS 3, GTR 3 and GTR 3 Pro have today been officially put on sale in the US, the UK, Italy, Spain, France, and China. Availability in other countries is planned too.

Retail price of the model Amazfit GTR 3 Pro stops at a nice round 200 € / 230 USD. The watches Amazfit GTS 3 and Amazfit GTR 3 will then cost a bit less—about 150 € / 180 USD.
