In a recent article, we wrote about the introduction of another wearable device in the form of the Amazfit Bip U. These smartwatches apparently will come to the global market under the name Amazfit Pop.
The arrival of the Pop watch was also announced by the manufacturer in a short YouTube video, with a focus mainly on sports and a healthy lifestyle. There’s also no shortage of integrated sports modes or heart rate and sleep monitoring.
A helper for a healthier life
The Amazfit Pop should hit the market with a 1,43″ TFT LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. High-quality display protection shouldn’t be missing either, in the form of a protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with 2.5D curvature.
In terms of features, the watch offers countless different sports and activities, including functions like music control, weather tracking, world time, and notifications. According to available information, the watch will also include a NFC chip.
As for the sports modes themselves, you have more than 60 to choose from. We don’t have a detailed list of supported sports, but we know that the watch will be able, among other things, to track sleep quality, measure heart rate, and at the same time track the menstrual cycle.
Other interesting features include blood oxygen level monitoring and calculating the PAI value (Personal Activity Intelligence). When it comes to contributing to a healthy lifestyle, we genuinely don’t have much to criticize about the watch.
Battery capacity is, especially for wearable devices, a very important parameter. This new model will be unveiled with a battery capacity of 230 mAh, thanks to which the battery life per single charge will reach up to an impressive 9 days.
The manufacturer opted for a fairly well-known square watch design. Thanks to this shape, much more information and data can fit on the display, making the usage far more efficient and comfortable. More than one user will appreciate this shape.
The Amazfit Pop smartwatches should go on sale in three color options. These are black, green, and pale pink. The watch dimensions are 40,9 × 35,5 × 11,4 millimeters and the weight is just 31 grams.
