We tested the Xiaomi Duka ATUMAN IG1 ourselves too
This plasma lighter pen from the Xiaomi and Duka collaboration caught our attention, so we decided to order one ourselves for testing. The AliExpress order arrived in an excellent 15 days. The device is very simple, just like its packaging – in the box, you’ll find only the pen itself and the leaflet.
The pen is made of plastic with a matte finish, which makes it look slightly like metal. The build quality is excellent. In the middle section of the pen there is a safety lock, which needs to be gently pressed from the bottom and then pulled downward.
This activates the pen, which is also indicated by LED lights that simultaneously show the battery level. We’ve also included a video of how this great gadget works:
On the side there is a USB C connector for charging. Under the safety lock is the trigger button, which activates the plasma itself. With the Xiaomi Duka ATUMAN IG1 plasma pen, you can light a candle, cigarettes, or start a fire.
Unlike classic flame lighters, you can use this plasma pen without any problem even in the wind, since there is no flame to blow out. It’s ideal for campfires outdoors or at the cottage too.
Plasma technology
Xiaomi Duka ATUMAN IG1 uses advanced plasma technology that eliminates the need for traditional lighters. The plasma light arc, which produces high heat, is stable and safe, and even in bad weather. Plasma technology ensures there is no open flame, reducing the risk of accidental fires.
Dual safety switch
The plasma pen has a dual safety switch that includes a lock against accidental ignition. The long handle (18,6 cm) ensures safe ignition with a sufficient distance from the flame, so you don’t have to worry about burns.
Easy charging and long battery life
The plasma lighter pen charges via a universal Type C connector. However, the charging cable is not included in the package. The 1,1 Wh battery provides approximately 200 uses on a single 3-hour charge.
Aluminum body of the ATUMAN IG1 lighter pen
This pen is made of a high-quality aluminum alloy that is resistant to scratches, fading, and corrosion. This material ensures a long lifespan and keeps the pen in great condition even after long-term use.
With compact dimensions (19 x 13 x 157 mm) and low weight (59 g), you can carry it with you everywhere.
Battery status indicator
IG1 has a battery status indicator that gives you a quick overview of the remaining charge. You’ll always know when it’s time to recharge the battery.
