This process is done through the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. Two things matter: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary in the Promo code field. After you click Pay now, you can’t add it anymore.

On AliExpress, the heater has a 4.8 out of 5 rating based on 32 reviews, and around 190 units have been sold. One buyer praises the fast delivery and careful packaging. The controls seemed easy to them, but the heater apparently hums a bit more than the one they had at home. Still, for this price, they recommend it.

Another customer, on the other hand, praises it for being quiet, compact, and having lots of settings. The noise likely depends on the mode. However, two buyers list the noise among the downsides. If you want to leave the heater on while you sleep, keep that in mind.

The ceramic heating element warms up right after switching on

Inside there’s a ceramic PTC element that, according to the manufacturer, heats up in one second. Warm air starts flowing almost immediately after you press the button. Unlike older spiral heaters, the ceramic won’t glow red. As it heats further, it automatically reduces power draw.

There are three modes to choose from. With full 1200 W, the heater consumes 1,2 kWh per hour and is great for quickly warming up a cold room. The half-power 600 W setting is enough to maintain the temperature. The third mode only blows air and uses 4 W, so in summer it works like a tabletop fan.

What room is the ROUNY SOL 1 Swing enough for?

The manufacturer recommends it for a space of about 10 m². It handles a bedroom, kids’ room, home office, bathroom, or a caravan. It won’t heat a living room of 25 m² by itself—that size it’s better suited as extra warmth for your feet.

Heaters under 30 € usually don’t have oscillation. This one does—you turn on the rotation of 80° with a separate button. The warm air then moves from side to side and reaches a larger part of the room. You’ll appreciate that when two people are sitting at the table. Without oscillation it blows in one direction all the time, for example under the table. The cylinder is 13,8 cm in diameter, 21,7 cm high, weighs 1,2 kg, and has a carrying handle on top.

Touch display, thermostat, and timer

On top there’s a circular LED display with touch buttons. You set the temperature from 16 to 37 °C. The thermostat then turns heating on and off based on the room temperature. One buyer notes that after the heating turns off, the fan doesn’t stop and continues blowing cooler room air.

You can set the timer for up to 9 hours, so the heater won’t run all night—or after you leave the office. Besides the touch buttons, it also has a mechanical main power switch that lets you turn it fully off.

It turns off if it overheats and if it gets knocked over

If the temperature inside gets too high, the heater turns off by itself. Then you need to let it cool down for about 10 minutes, and only then switch it on again. The second safety feature reacts to tilting—so if your dog, a child, or a foot under the table knocks it over, the heating stops immediately.

Don’t rely on the fuse completely, though. Keep it at least a meter away from curtains, beds, and furniture, and never cover it with anything. The cable is only 1,4 m, but still plug it directly into the socket. A cheap extension cord may not handle a long-term load of 1200 W.
