The new POCO brand is already just a step away from unveiling its first device. At the time of writing this article, there are still 5 days and almost 8 hours until the POCO X2 smartphone is unveiled.
The unveiled specs confirm the features of Redmi K30
POCO, the brand that separated from its parent Xiaomi just two weeks ago, is gradually revealing small details about the upcoming phone. Whether it’s the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, or its display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, plus the design lines—everything suggests this is the Redmi K30 4G model.
Today, on its official Twitter account, the company published a new promotional teaser. In it, it confirms that the battery in the new smartphone will surprise with its capacity as well as the charging speed.
In the photo, we can also see the smartphone shown from the side edge, where the fingerprint sensor is clearly visible. This exact element on the side edge is also found on Redmi K30.
In the official teasers of POCO X2 published so far, it increasingly resembles the Redmi K30 model. In practice, it’s the same smartphone, which confirms that the new device will be a global version of the K30 unveiled in December / late December.
Based on these findings, the POCO X2 is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor along with 6 or up to 8 GB of RAM. Another great spec is a 4 500 mAh battery supporting fast 27 W charging.
We shouldn’t forget the NFC module, the USB Type-C connector, and of course the impressive rear camera SONY IMX686 with a resolution of 64 MPx. The device will be unveiled at the event in India on 4 February / February 2020 at 12:00 local time.
